Brief Character Description, Special Character Powers/Abilities, Brief Character History: Standing at 5'10" with dark brown hair and smokey blue eyes, he has an easy smile that he offers to everyone he meets. Closer inspection will show it is a somewhat guarded smile - for no reason but personal ones. Being on the run from the Alliance and trying to keep his sister safe tended to do that to a man.
He'd been acused of being prim, perhaps stogey, prudish?, certainly heard 'stick up his ass' a time or two, but Simon preferred to think of himself as proper. Decorous. Civilized. Polite.
Gifted and gradutating in the top 3% of his class at medical school and finishing his internship in eight months, the only abilities Simon really possesses is a keen mind and top rate medical degree.
He was a medical researcher and trauma surgeon of the first caliber, who had to go on the run after breaking his sister River out of a government research facility. The medic aboard the Serenity, he and River flew under Alliance radar with the help of the Serenity's captain, Malcom Reynolds.
